Through our Community Heroes program, we proudly recognize individuals who make a positive impact in Edinburg —including teachers, first responders, military members, veterans, volunteers, charity organizers, environmental advocates, and leaders who serve others.
Why We Created the Honor Wall
The Community Heroes Honor Wall at Hacienda Ford of Edinburg was created to recognize the everyday heroes who make our community better. Each message represents a story of service, kindness, and leadership that deserves to be celebrated.

Hector Mendoza

William “Bob” Steele
Bob is very caring & always helpful. He has devoted years of his life working with children in the orphanage Children’s Haven International in Reynosa. What a great man! We love you, Bob!

Kristy De La Garza is my community hero. She has been a dedicated educator for many years. She goes above and beyond to support students & their families through the college application process, providing resources to those in need and ensuring opportunities are available to all students.
